In every LEVITATE newsletter a partner is invited to elaborate on their role in the project. This time it’s SWOVs turn. Wendy Weijermars, research manager of the department ‘infrastructure and traffic’, gives a clear explanation about SWOVs role in this project by answering following questions:

About LEVITATE
The European LEVITATE project develops tools to help policy makers prepare for the arrival of Connected & Automated Transport Systems (CATS). The most important output of LEVITATE is an online 'Policy Support Tool' (PST) that provides local authorities with insight into the influence of automated vehicles. This concerns road safety, the environment, the economy and society in the short, medium and long term.
