A study to determine the effectiveness of reflectorization of license plates and its significance to the highway safety program of the state of Washington.

The objectives of this study were: 1) to determine the effectiveness of reflectorization of license plates as an accident preventive device. 2) to analyze the advantage, disadvantages and costs of the several reflectorizing material available. 3) to determine whether the additional cost involved can be justified.
