Samenvatting
This study on fog lightning was initiated by a request from the Maintenance Division of the Highway Department to the Research Council to survey available methods for promoting the safety of highway travel under conditions of heavy fog. An in-depth search of the literature on the subject revealed that fog abatement techniques and hardware had not evolved to the point that they were feasible for highway usage.
