New Zealand wants to identify cost-effective ways of promoting safe city cycling and has therefore entered into a collaboration with SWOV with special focus on the future of the bicycle in urban transport systems in New Zealand. New Zealand will benefit from the SWOV expertise on, for instance, e-bikes and safe infrastructure for bicycles and pedestrians and SWOV will benefit from the New Zealand knowledge of research into transport and health.
