Rins de Zwart, MSc, conducts research into the interaction between humans and intelligent transport systems for both passenger traffic and freight transport. He studies the behavioural adaptations related to self-driving vehicles and develops several studies in virtual reality and in our driving simulator. Rins is also involved in research related to communication with automated vehicles, and participated in the European projects LEVITATE en MEDIATOR.

Rins graduated from Leiden University in the field of Applied Cognitive Psychology.
