SWOV has estimated the amount of serious road injuries for the period 2007-2016 for Vervoerregio Amsterdam. This number is a significant indicator for the development of road safety at regional level.
For 2016 the amount of road injuries was estimated on 2.070 within Vervoerregio Amsterdam; an increase of 2% in comparison with 2010. Nationally the amount of road injuries increased with 12%.
