SWOV is participating in the project Meaningful Human Control over Automated Driving Systems which is funded by the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) is carried out at Delft University of Technology. The project aims toachieve a responsible transition toward automated driving, to develop a theory of “meaningful human control” over Automated Driving Systems (ADS), and based on this theory, contributes to the development of design guidelines , both at the technical and at the institutional level. Other participants in the project are RWS, RDW, Royal Haskoning DHV, CBR, Langerak van Roest Advocaten, AMS Institute, Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment, Toyota, DAF Trucks and Transdev.
Two post-doc vacancies are available within this project:
For more information about the project or the vacancies, please contact SWOV's scientific advisor Marjan Hagenzieker who is also Professor of Road Safety at Delft University of Technology.
