On November 10-12 the 9th International Cycling Safety Conference will take place in Lund, Sweden. Main theme is safe cycling as an integral part of the future mobility system: planning and designing for a safe interaction between road users.
The International Cycling Safety Conference ICSC is a forum for researchers and experts in the field of cycling safety to exchange their knowledge and bring up new research topics and safety solutions. In 2020, the conference will meet for the ninth time, hosted by Lund University and the Swedish Cycling Research Centre at the National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI).
The conference will cover the following topics:
The conference will be organised in a way facilitating interactions between the participants. It will offer a day of study visits and thematic workshops and two days of oral presentation and poster session together with an exhibition. It is also possible to organise special sessions devoted to a certain topic, large-scale projects or other initiatives.
The submitted papers will be peer-reviewed by experts in the field and a selection of them will be further recommended for publication in a special issues of a high-impact scientific journal.
