May 8-9, the final conference of the CEDR project ISAAC will take place in Brussels. The result of the project is an interactive website that allows local, regional and national policy makers to gain insight in measures that stimulate cycling and walking at the expense of car use.

PROGReSS is a CEDR funded project aiming at delivering an application to help road administrators in identifying and solving problems in their design (process) of roads and roadsides leading or contributing to severe roadside crashes. After a survey among road administrators to identify problems they are facing, the previous period has been used to develop the application

The CEDR-funded ADVERTS project just published its recommendations for minimising distraction from roadside advertising. Since roadside advertising is explicitly meant to attract the attention of passers-by, it is by definition a source of distraction. However, some features are more distracting than other.
