Article published: A human factors perspective on automated driving

The scientific article A human factors perspective on automated driving has recently been published in the journal Theoretical Issues in Ergonomics Science. Among the authors of the article is SWOV’s scientific advisor Marjan Hagenzieker.

Automated driving can fundamentally change road transportation and improve quality of life. But what is the role of humans in relation with automated vehicles? Twelve expert researchers in the field of human factors of automated driving were interviewed about human factors challenges in the development of automated vehicles. This article presents the results.
