Internationale prijs voor SafetyCube & SaferAfrica

December 10th 2019 both EU-projects SafetyCube and SaferAfrica have been awarded with the Prince Michael International Road Safety Award. SWOV contributed to both projects.

The jury:

"Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards recognise outstanding innovation and achievement. In making their recommendations for awards to The Prince, the judges emphasised the need for good quality evidence on which policy makers and planners can implement effective countermeasures as vital for success. The Safety Cube DSS and the Safer Africa Project have made such evidence available to many working in government and on the front line at local level across two continents with the potential to reach even further."
