Comparative studies of road safety developments in European countries

 

Objective of the project
In this project the road safety in different countries was compared with the intention of improving it. SUNflower started with Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands, and was later extended with Southern and MiddleEuropean countries and a refinement of the methodology.

 

SWOV contribution
SWOV was consortium leader and initiator of the SUNflower projects. During the SafetyNet project the SUNflowerNext study was carried out.
