AA Driver Education Foundation
The AA Driver Education Foundation has been formed by the New Zealand Automobile Association as an independent body to represent the interests of the New Zealand Automobile Association (and its membership) and other major parties in the specific area of road user safety through improved driver licencing standards, driver attitude and driver skills.
AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety
The AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety is a not-for-profit, publicly-supported charitable educational and research organization. Since 1947, the Foundation has funded over 80 research projects designed to discover the causes of traffic crashes. It has used its research to develop dozens of focused, high-impact educational materials for drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists and other road users.
ADVANCED
Advanced is a study of post-licence driver and rider training co-financed by the European Commission. It describes and analyses voluntary, post-licence training and makes a series of recommendations on how to improve such training. It emphasises the importance of avoiding overconfidence amongst trainees and indicates how training can be more effective and balanced.

Advancing Sustainable Safety critically examines the Sustainable Safety vision. Adaptations were made where necessary. Advancing insights and new developments have also prompted the update of this vision.

ANDREA
Driver rehabilitation courses for the reintegration of traffic violators are a growing market in many EU-states. It was the objective of the “Andrea”-project (Analysis of Driver Rehabilitation Programmes) to analyse which elements of these courses are more or less effective.

The Royal Dutch Tourist Club ANWB tries to promote the collective interests of its members on mobility. This usually occurs backstage in consultation with the government and branch organisations.
APROSYS
World-wide, vehicle safety experts agree that significant further reductions in fatalities and injury numbers could be achieved by deploying appropriate passive (or crash) safety strategies. The FP6 APROSYS Integrated Project (IP) answers to this call by development and introduction of critical technologies that improve passive safety for all European road users for priority accident types and levels of crash severity.

The organisation employs over 100 staff who form a multi-disciplinary pool of highly qualified research professionals, experienced engineers, and specialist technical and support staff. ARRB Transport Research has certified laboratory and testing facilities.

ATSB - Australian Transport Safety Bureau
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) undertakes best-practice 'no blame' transport safety investigations. The bureau is an operationally independent multi- modal body as it has to independently investigate, analyse and report on transport safety. It maintains a clear organisational separation from transport regulators and other parties that may be investigated, and operates within a defined legal framework within the Commonwealth Department of Transport and Regional Services (DOTARS).
