The tool (Powerplay) enables you to analyse data interactively

Adjusting a table
Use drag/drop to choose the variables you want to analyse
You can drop them in front, on, or after an existing row or column.
Expand
Some variables have subdivisions. You can make them visible by expanding
the variable.
Filter
You can filter on 1 and no more then 1 class per variable.
Use Explain to see filters in effect.
Hide
You can hide/show rows and columns. Do observe that everything hidden
still contributes to totals, calculations, etc.
Custom subset
A custom subset is a kind of advanced filter. One can choose several
classes in the filter.
All calculations are based on the classes in the subset.
Calculation
Some tables feature a ratio say victims per 100.000 inhabitants.
Using Add results in an addition of the ratio.
Using Rollup recalculates the ratio.
