How to get to SWOV?

SWOV is situated in the street called Duindoorn, nr 32, postal code 2262 AR in Leidschendam (a suburb of The Hague), on one of the corners of Leidsenhage shopping centre. SWOV can be easily reached either by Public Transport or by car.

 

Public transport
You take the train to one of the following stations:

• Voorburg
  From the station you take a taxi to Duindoorn 32, Leidschendam
• Den Haag Centraal Station
  From the station you take tram 2 or 6 in the direction of Leidschendam (it takes about 15 minutes). Get off at the tramstop "Winkelcentrum Leidsenhage / Ziekenhuis Antoniushove". You cross over the parking lot. The SWOV office is situated on the other side at Duindoorn 32.
• Den Haag Mariahoeve
  From the station you take tram 6 in the direction of Leidschendam (it takes about 5 minutes). Get off at the tramstop "Winkelcentrum Leidsenhage / Ziekenhuis Antoniushove". You cross over the parking lot. The SWOV office is situated on the other side at Duindoorn 32.
• Voorburg / 't Loo
  From the station you take tram 2 in the direction of Leidschendam (it takes about 5 minutes). Get off at the tramstop "Winkelcentrum Leidsenhage / Ziekenhuis Antoniushove". You cross over the parking lot. The SWOV office is situated on the other side at Duindoorn 32.

By car

• From Utrecht on the A12 and A4 motorways
• From Rotterdam on the A13 and A4 motorways
• From Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport on the A4 motorway
• From Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport via Wassenaar on the A44 motorway

From Utrecht and Rotterdam
From Utrecht and Rotterdam you drive in the direction of "Den Haag". Just before Den Haag there is a multi-storey intersection. After you have followed the road signs "A4, Amsterdam, Leidschendam" you turn off at exit 8 "Leidschendam". At the traffic lights above the exit road you turn right, in the direction of "Wassenaar". You follow this road (the N14) for about 2 kilometres. After the second tunnel you turn off right in the direction of the "Antoniushove" hospital. At the second traffic lights you turn off right. On your right hand side you will see the Golden Tulip Hotel "Green Park" and a large parking lot. The first street on the left is called "Duindoorn" and the SWOV building is on the corner at number 32.

 

From Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport on the A4 motorway
From Amsterdam you take exit 8 "Leidschendam". At the traffic lights above the exit road you turn right, in the direction of "Wassenaar", You follow this road (the N14) for about 2 kilometres. After the second tunnel, you turn off right in the direction of the "Antoniushove" hospital. At the second traffic lights you turn off right. From Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport via Wassenaar on the A44 motorway
You drive in the direction of "Den Haag". In Wassenaar, at the milepost 27,1 you will see N44 road left of the hotel "de Bijhorst". Immediately afterwards you turn off right at the traffic lights just before the viaduct. This is not shown by any road signs, but the road is called "Zijdeweg". At the next traffic lights you get in the left lane, you turn around left, and go back. You now drive on down the N14. After the first tunnel you turn off left in the direction of the "Antoniushove" hospital. At the second traffic lights you turn off right. On your right you will see the Golden Tulip Hotel "Green Park" and a large parking lot. The first street on the left is called "Duindoorn" and the SWOV building is on the corner at number 32.
