Programme Advisory Board
The Programme Advice Board advises the SWOV Board of Governors about the spending of the subsidy that SWOV receives from the Ministry of Transport. Its task is to discuss and advise about:
- the subjects SWOV proposes for research, knowledge dissemination, and activities of the Road Safety Assessment Department;
- the Four-year Research and knowledge dissemination programme resulting from this, and activities of the Road Safety Assessment Department;
- the Annual programme (including goal, intended results, and progress of the individual projects).
It also has the task to discuss and advise about the actual results set out against the intentions.
The members of the Programme Advisory Board are parties who are considered to have a (vested) interest in the results of SWOV's results: the national, regional, and municipal governments, private organizations, and police and/or the Public Prosecutor's Office.
